Our Beginnings
Poly Connection was launched in 2020, initially envisioned as an alternative dating site for the polyamorous community. We recognised the need for a platform where polyamorous individuals could connect, interact, and form meaningful relationships.
Challenges Poly Connection Faced
Our journey wasn’t without its challenges. Advertising companies, with their limited understanding of polyamory, labelled it as purely sexual, likening it to swinging. Our applications to advertise on their platforms were repeatedly denied, making it difficult to spread the word about our community.
Our Vision
Despite these setbacks, our vision for Poly Connection remained strong. We believe in the potential of our platform to benefit the polyamorous community. After extensive research and consultations, we decided to transition Poly Connection into a social network. Our aim is to provide a secure, private space for people in the polyamorous community to find and interact with each other, whether for friendship, learning, or more.
