We’re incredibly grateful for your support since the launch of Poly Connection. You may have noticed that our membership numbers have plateaued recently. This is due to the challenges we’ve faced in promoting Poly Connection through paid advertising avenues. Platforms like Facebook and Instagram have unfortunately classified polyamory as purely sexual, similar to swinging, and have repeatedly denied our applications to advertise.
However, we’re not deterred. We’re passionate about the potential of Poly Connection to serve the polyamorous community. After extensive research and consultations, we’ve found a way to navigate these obstacles.
Poly Connection is evolving into a social network specifically designed for the polyamorous community, moving beyond its initial focus as a dating site. We’ll retain the key dating site features you’ve come to appreciate while introducing more community-centric features.
Here’s a sneak peek into the changes you can expect:
New Additions:
- Free Private Messaging between Members (Connection Request approval still required).
- Personal Status updates that other Members can respond to.
- Activity Feeds – Global, Personal, and Groups.
- Local Groups for you to connect with people in your area.
- Advertising – Visible to non-VIP Members.

Our VIP Membership will continue, and current VIP members will transition to the new system automatically. As a token of our appreciation, anyone who has been a VIP Member will receive an additional 12 months of VIP Membership at no extra cost. This will be actioned automatically with the change of VIP.
VIP Membership will grant you access to VIP-only Groups and a 10% discount on any upcoming Poly Connection merchandise. We’ll be introducing advertising to the site, visible to all non-VIP Members. VIP Membership will remain ad-free.
We’re also reducing the pricing for VIPs to $3.99 per month, $21.99 for six months, or $39.99 for a year.
